2008 Introductory (26^th March 2008, 21:57:48)

I’m preparing every second.

Hey all! I am now in Jinjiang already, everything is fine. I shall not write much today, but there’s a video for all of you. Remember our badminton team party? The actual plan was every team has to send a person to talk on behalf of the other players. I was selected to talk for the men’s singles team, and so I did lots of preparations before that. It feels good. Sadly, we were informed on the day itself that this event was canceled. Lucky thing I video taped my part. Ha ha.

Beijing has been warmer these two days. After the sandstorm has ended, spring is finally arriving. To me, this spring signifies spring plowing – and what does that mean – it means, to improve my basics and skills to play in the Beijing Olympics. As a Chinese saying says, “you will get how much you have worked for”. Perhaps, this will be an exhausting yet meaningful process. Due to the long period of time I’ve spend away from home for the competitions lately, I am now very worn out, just like a balloon without air; but all of this were fine, at least I’ve spent my strength on the right track, it was worth it.

Expecting a lovely child this year (18^th March 2008, 15:25:26)

I am in the family way for almost two months. I couldn’t believe it at first but am now doing preparations to become a mother; and also indulging in the joy of being pregnant. I’ve never liked kids all this while but now, I am preparing to become a mum. Within this time, my thoughts have changed a lot. My husband had been convincing me very patiently and my friends were telling me about the happiness of having a child. I understand with time that having a child is not burdensome but proof of our relationship and a treasure given to us.

I had been busy packing my luggage for the All England and Swiss Open – two tournaments in two weeks – a very exciting season. Please do wish me luck in getting good results then. Haha! It will be the 8^th time I play in the All England match this year. I hope to get satisfying results.
