Eating in Japan [written on the 10th of September] (11th September 2007; 17:38)
It’s past 12 am now, but it’s only 11pm in Beijing. I’m currently in Japan again, I’ll not miss the chance to eat and shop here, for sure; and of course, the main point I’m here – to win the match.
It was rather late when I arrived here today. So I just had my meal and came back to the hotel. Since I’ve mentioned about eating, I thought of that restaurant along the road… This restaurant is actually a normal fast food restaurant, but the food served is quite good. I naturally ordered a roasted meat set dinner and in less than 5 minutes, all of it went down my stomach… The next thing was the famous Japan hand-pulled noodles. Ha-ha! The stall is just by the restaurant. Although I was already quite full at the moment, I didn’t miss the chance; I just couldn’t control my taste-buds any longer. I hurried to the noodles stall and was madly drooling that I could only swallow the saliva that was almost dripping out of my mouth. I took a mouth of the noodles and WOW, it was great! Slurp, slurp… From deep beneath my heart, I say, “This is so great!!”
After filling my stomach, I realized that my 300¥ was left on the table. I first thought of giving it to the owner of the stall as an encouragement for his delicious noodles, but I thought again – No, I could have another bowl if I spared the money. So, the 300¥ went back into my pocket right away. Hey, don’t blame me for being penny-pinching; if you were to blame me, do blame the noodles instead. HA-HA!! I shall have more of it tomorrow……
Oh yeah, it’s Teacher’s Day today. Wishing all the teachers a Happy Teacher’s Day!!!
