 First 2007 title (8th October 2007, 17:18)
Hello everyone! Our national week has just ended. How have all of you been? I participated in the Macau Open during our national celebration week and won my first mixed doubles title of the year. This title may be a very late one but I’m really happy that my hard work was not wasted. It gives me great motivation to fight on! Of course, this is also because of your support and encouragement. I sincerely thank all of you.
The Macau Open was a very tense one. I remember that I had to change my racket when we were half-way through the game in the semi-finals. The strings on my racket snapped after I made a smash so I ran to the side to change to a new racket. Lucky thing Yawen took all the shuttles on her own and we ended up winning the rally. Ha-ha! Yawen is great!!
We’re back in Beijing today. Our training will be starting soon and we’ll start to prepare for the coming tournaments. All the best to all of you!!
