Zhuhai (17th December 2007, 13:47)
Still the old place, but one week has passed. Time will make people more mature, and also, older. Habits will also change, the key is whether or not you want to change. Things that remain stagnant will eventually fall behind. This is most evident on the (tournament) courts. Your original skills might be the most advanced, but as time ticks by, it will fall behind, and of course, your standard will similarly fall behind too. Why do we have to train everyday? Training is to raise your standard, raising your standard means to improve, and improvements need time. We will have to fight for time, so the time while we are here in Zhuhai is important, for the Olympics next year. Now, the players are training very seriously, and are focusing on their weak points. I always thought they should be changing their thoughts and mindset now instead.
The new week has begun, hopefully I will have new experiences. I wanted to say “hopefully I will have new improvements” at first, but I feel that new things won’t change so quickly. It’s still because of time; I haven’t fully understood the meaning of time yet. Time exists everyday, we must cherish it. Looks like the easier things can be gotten, the more we don’t treasure them.
Went fishing on Sunday. Didn’t catch any fish, but I nearly fell into the water…
A question for everyone: How do cats fish? I was stumped when my friend asked me the question yesterday. So everyone, come tell me the answer quick!
