It’s been 10 years exactly that I’ve been touring the world to cover badminton. The first time, at the end of 1999 for the US Open, when I was doing a story on the death row for a French Magazine and I incidentally offered my services to the then IBF for the event just next door to where I was.

WANG CHEN rides off into Hong Kong Sunset PDF Print E-mail
A whole year after she first signalled her intentions, the curtain finally descends on the long and consistent career of women's badminton singles specialist Wang Chen, who came to prominence representing Hong Kong.  She announced her official retirement from the sport at the East Asian Games this weekend.
